Licensing agreement announced

New York IRVINGTON, (called) – photoelectric science company (hereinafter referred to as: photoelectric science) announced and KaVo Dental GmbH signed an exclusive licensing agreement, further development and commercialization DIFOTI, a kind of the United States food and drug administration (fda) for detection of the development of caries and non-invasive imaging equipment.
Under the terms of the agreement, KaVo will pay the EOS an undisclosed prepayment and pay a double digit annual fee based on the number of systems sold in each calendar year. KaVo, a leading dental equipment manufacturer, has made millions of dollars in pledges to improve the commercial launch of DIFOTI products.
“We are pleased to add DIFOTI to our portfolio. DIFOTI provides an ideal complement to our preventive and minimally invasive techniques. It can imagine tooth decay, or tooth decay, like x-rays, without exposing patients to radiation – with a sensitivity of up to 10 times. We believe this will enable the dentist to improve and speed up the diagnosis. As a result, it supports the current trend, with a minimally invasive dental technique that fits well with other products in our portfolio, “said Michael Eidenschink, head of business at KaVo’s high-tech business unit.
“We are pleased that KaVo will commercialize DIFOTI to achieve its true value in the field of high-tech dentistry.” KaVo is known for its constant innovation, and we believe that their marketing expertise will make DIFOTI a huge success. “EOS is still focused on MelaFind’s development and commercialization, which is our non-invasive instrument for helping early diagnosis of melanoma.”
